| Leah Dyer "Instructor & Barn Manager !"
Leah has been a student at Applewood Farms since she was 9 years old. She began riding as a child with a passion, and has since grown into an adult, with not only that passion, but with skill and expertise as well! She has followed her childhood dreams, and gone on to teach others as well.
She is a skilled horsewoman who has been volunteering for over 5 years, and training with the best. She has even gone on to the World Championships in Louisville Kentucky. She has worked along Sammie for the past 10 years, helping with breeding, foaling, traning, and riding colts. She has helped in all aspects of the operation including assisting with all Veternarian & Farrier care.
For the past two years she has been apprenticing under Allison Strash following her every step in training young colts, and show prospects as well as starting new lessons, conducting daycamps, and continuing the show string.
We are proud to announce that Leah Dyer has accepted the role as Barn Manager and Instructor of Applewood Farms.

Sammie Lancia- Owner
Sammie has been showing horses for over 35 years. She has shown American Saddlebreds, Morgans, Arabians, Quarter Horses, Tennesee Walkers, Paso Fino's and hunters. Over the years she has had a lot of experience showing and working with many trainers. She has shown many different breeds and was fortunate to share so many breeds and temperments, but her love has always kept her heart with the American Saddlebreds.

Leah has been riding and showing horses for over 10years. She has specialized in working with the young riders, and helping build confidence in these riders.
Leah le is an accomplished instructor, teaching for over 3years Leah started her riding career at La Kona Farms, Zion, Il, and moved to Applewood Farms when La Kona Farms closed their doors!
